Trewince Manor Cottage

Trewince Manor Cottage is a three-bedroom estate cottage on the Roseland near Portscatho, sleeping six. It sits within the grounds of Trewince Manor between Portscatho village and St Mawes, with shared use of the estate's swimming pool and hot tub.

The cottage runs over two floors. Three bedrooms each have their own en-suite shower room: a king double, a standard double, and a twin. A separate bathroom on the ground floor adds a bath with hand-held shower. The kitchen-diner is built around an AGA, and there's a sitting room with an ornamental Cornish range plus a separate snug with a TV. One honest note - the layout splits living space across two rooms, which works for couples sharing but isn't a single open-plan family hub.

Portscatho's harbour and shop are 2.8km away, with the Plume of Feathers pub and the village's small sandy beach. Porthcurnick Beach and the Hidden Hut beach kitchen sit just north - book the kitchen-table fish nights weeks ahead. The St Anthony Head lighthouse walk along the coast path takes around an hour each way. St Mawes, with its castle and year-round passenger ferry to Falmouth, is six miles south.

Best for: three couples or a multi-generational group of six wanting an en-suite each, plus pool access. Less good for: dog owners (no dogs), or anyone wanting a fully private pool rather than a shared estate facility.
