Rockpool

Rockpool is a four-bedroom family house set in the village of Gerrans on the Roseland, less than half a mile from the seaside village of Portscatho. The property sleeps up to seven across a main house (king bed, double bed and single) and an annexe with a king bed, and runs on a Thursday changeover to sidestep weekend traffic. Parking for up to three cars and EV charging sit on site.

Inside, the layout gives generous family space across two bathrooms, with an open fire for cooler evenings and a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and washing machine. The annexe extends capacity to seven between Easter and October half term (included in the booking during those peak weeks). Wi-Fi runs throughout.

Outside, a private enclosed garden sits with the property, and the swimming pool and beach at Portscatho are a few minutes' walk away. Porthcurnick Beach - home to the Hidden Hut cafe - is under a mile on foot, with Towan at St Anthony within two miles. St Mawes sits 3.5 kilometres away for the castle, harbour and Falmouth ferry, with Pendower at 3.8 kilometres and Carne at 4.4 kilometres along the coast.

In Gerrans, the dog-friendly Standard Inn serves food with a summer beer garden and winter fires. Portscatho has independent shops, a pub, restaurants and cafes, and St Just-in-Roseland church sits three miles away for a scenic churchyard walk above the estuary.
