The master bedroom has its own en-suite.

The tiered garden is the standout. It includes a private sauna, a BBQ, and a separate games room with a pool table - amenities you would normally expect only at significantly higher price points. The cottage has a dishwasher and on-site parking. Note there is no washing machine, so guests on longer stays may need to factor that in.

Trevellas Cove is 2.5km from the door - a narrow rocky inlet below the old Blue Hills tin mine workings, quiet and largely undiscovered by day-trippers. Trevaunance Cove is 2.7km: the main beach for St Agnes, with a surf school and a seasonal cafe. Perranporth Beach, one of the longer Atlantic-facing beaches on this stretch of coast, is 4.2km. The Mithian village pub is within easy walking distance.

Best for groups of up to eight wanting a well-equipped countryside base on the North Cornwall Heritage Coast, with dogs welcome and a sauna included. Less good for guests who need a washing machine, or for those who want to be within walking distance of a town rather than a quiet working village.
