Trebudannon Barn

Trebudannon Barn is a two-bedroom single-storey conversion in the small inland hamlet of Trebudannon, 6.1km from the sand at Watergate Bay and roughly 5 miles inland from Newquay. It sleeps four in two super king-size rooms, has its own hot tub, and comes with an EV charger - useful in this corner of Cornwall.

Inside, the open-plan living space pairs exposed stone walls with oak and slate floors and a wood burner. The kitchen runs to an induction hob, electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, Ninja air fryer and Nespresso machine. One bedroom has an en-suite wet room with underfloor heating; the second shares the family bathroom (shower over bath). There is no Wi-Fi here, so plan to use mobile data or unplug for the week.

The barn shares access to a woodland and orchard with two ponds, picnic area and seating - quiet, but you'll see other guests passing through. Newquay is a 10-minute drive south for Fistral surf and the airport; Padstow is around 12 miles north for Rick Stein and the Camel Trail. Watergate Bay's Extreme Academy on the sand runs surf, kitesurf and paddleboard lessons through the season.

Best for couples or two couples wanting a single-storey rural base with a hot tub, an EV charger, and one dog. Less good for anyone needing Wi-Fi, walking distance to the beach, or three-bedroom space.
