The Cobbles

The Cobbles is a two-bedroom glamping-style whitewashed fisherman's cottage in Polperro on the south Cornwall coast, sleeping four in a super-king master and a twin. An 18th-century origin, views across Polperro harbour mouth from most rooms and television exposure on ITV1's Holiday Home Sweet Home set it apart from other harbour-side lets.

Inside, the kitchen and diner sit on the ground floor with slate floor, underfloor heating, modern wood units and a window seat overlooking the harbour. The first-floor living room has oak flooring, a large window seat with sea views, a wood burner, a sofa and armchair. The second floor holds the master bedroom with a six-foot super-king bed and a twin bedroom. A family bathroom sits on the first floor. Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine and accessible access are included. Dogs are welcome.

Outside, steps behind the cottage lead up to a small sunny terrace with panoramic views of the harbour, village and sea. The cottage sits on a pedestrianised lane a short walk from the centre of the village. The South West Coast Path passes close by, and Polperro beach is immediately below.

Polperro is a traditional Cornish fishing village with a working harbour, independent shops, restaurants and inns. Short breaks may be accepted outside a week-long booking. Prices start from GBP 950 per week with Saturday changeovers.
