Dene Cottage

Dene Cottage is a two-bedroom property sleeping four in the heart of Polperro, on the south Cornwall coast. The cottage sits just a few yards from the working harbour where local fishing boats land their catch each day.

Inside, the refurbished interior retains beamed ceilings and wood-burning stoves, with two bedrooms and a single bathroom. The property includes wifi, a washing machine, an open fire, and accessible features, and dogs are welcome.

Outside, an enclosed courtyard garden forms a sheltered sun-trap, with space for outdoor seating between the stone walls. The harbour front and the South West Coast Path are a short walk from the door.

Polperro itself is a traditional fishing village with narrow lanes, pubs, and galleries clustered around the harbour. Looe, with its sandy beach and wider choice of shops and restaurants, lies a short drive east along the coast, while the north Cornwall coast at Tintagel and Boscastle is accessible by car.
