Breakers

Breakers is an 18th-century fisherman's cottage in Polperro, sleeping four across two bedrooms. The property sits on a traffic-free lane close to the harbour, with sea views from every room. The cottage is designed as accessible accommodation and welcomes dogs.

Inside, the two bedrooms are served by two bathrooms. The cottage has been renovated to retain original features alongside a new kitchen, new bathrooms, and new heating. Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and a washing machine are included.

The cottage sits close to the sea with easy access to the water from the village for swimming, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The South West Coast Path runs through Polperro, so walks west towards Lantic Bay and Fowey or east along the cliffs towards Looe start from close to the door. Parking is available nearby; Polperro's centre is pedestrianised with cars left at the main village car park.

Polperro is a traditional fishing harbour with narrow lanes running down to the quay, a working fleet, and a cluster of pubs, cafes, and small galleries. The beach sits at the harbour mouth with rocks and sand. Talland Bay lies a mile east along the coast path, with Lansallos Beach further west and Looe reachable in about six miles by the path or road. The Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are both within a 45-minute drive.
