The Beach House

Upside-down three-bedroom semi on the Glendorgal Sands development in Porth, sleeping six on the headland above Lusty Glaze Beach. Living rooms upstairs to catch light off the balcony, bedrooms below. Accessible features and parking included. No dogs.

Inside: two bathrooms, an open-plan upstairs kitchen, dining and lounge opening onto the balcony, and three bedrooms on the ground floor where the access features sit. Wifi, dishwasher, washing machine, and an enclosed garden. The balcony view is over the gardens of the development rather than open sea, so don't book this one expecting a sea-view living room. Saturday changeover.

Glendorgal sits on the headland between Porth and Newquay - 600 metres downhill to Tolcarne Beach, about a kilometre to Great Western, and walkable to Lusty Glaze (133 steps to the sand, private beach with adventure centre). Porth Beach and the footbridge to Trevelgue Head are around the corner. Central Newquay and Fistral Beach are a mile south on foot or a five-minute drive.

Best for a family of six who want walkable access to multiple beaches and need a single-floor sleeping layout, or guests with limited mobility who'd rather avoid stairs to bedrooms. Less good for dog-owners or anyone prioritising a sea view from the living space - the balcony looks across the resort gardens, not the water.
