Beachcombers

Beachcombers is a two-bedroom cottage on Lusty Glaze Road in Porth, about a mile northeast of Newquay town centre. The property has ground-floor accessibility throughout and sleeps five across two bedrooms.

The ground floor holds a double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a family room with three single beds. A separate bathroom has a full-size bath with shower over. Upstairs, an open-plan living area combines the kitchen, dining space, and sitting room. The kitchen includes an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, and washer/dryer. WiFi and Freeview TV are provided.

A front patio and off-road parking for one car sit outside. Tolcarne Beach is 600m away - about a 5-minute walk - where The Wedge cafe serves coffee and lunch on the sand. Great Western Beach is 1km further along the coast, and Whipsiderry Beach lies 1.1km to the north.

Porth itself has cafes, a pub, and a small cluster of shops. The beach here is wide and sandy with good rock-pooling around the tidal island at low water. Newquay Zoo, the Blue Reef Aquarium, and Trenance Gardens are all within a 15-minute walk south. Watergate Bay is a 20-minute walk north along the coast path.
