Little Phoenix

Little Phoenix is a one-bedroom reverse-level house close to Talland Bay on the South Cornwall coast. The reverse-level layout puts the open-plan kitchen, dining and living space on the upper floor, opening onto a balcony with dual-aspect sea and countryside views. A second deck runs off the downstairs bedroom. The cottage sleeps two and welcomes dogs, with EV charging also included.

Inside, the main living space gets the best of the views, with the single bedroom and bathroom on the lower level. Wi-Fi, parking and a washing machine come as standard. The orientation means the balcony catches the evening light, making it the natural spot for watching the sun go down over the bay.

Outside, Talland Bay Beach is a short walk down, a mixed sand and shingle beach with a gentle water line suitable for paddleboarding, kayaking and swimming. The Talland Bay Beach Cafe operates from a row of beach huts and makes an easy morning stop before guests return to the cottage.

The South West Coast Path runs along this stretch, linking Talland Bay to Polperro in one direction and Looe in the other. Both are within walking distance for more committed walkers, or a short drive for guests who prefer to save their legs for the beach.
