The cottage sits inland - the north coast at Port Gaverne Beach is 12.1km - making this a practical base for touring both coasts of Cornwall rather than a beach-focused stay.

The barn has been converted with accessibility in mind: the ground floor is fully accessible. Three bedrooms sleep 7, with an open fire and garden with BBQ for summer evenings. EV charging is available on site. WiFi, dishwasher, washing machine, and parking are all included. Dogs are welcome.

Blisland itself is one of the quieter villages on Bodmin Moor, with a pub on the village green - a rare thing in rural Cornwall. The Camel Trail runs within easy reach, following the disused railway line from Padstow through Wadebridge and up towards Camelford. Port Gaverne Beach is the nearest coast at 12.1km, a sheltered cove just around the headland from Port Isaac.

Best for a group or family with dogs wanting a central inland base, particularly if someone in the party has mobility needs or drives an EV. Less good for guests wanting a beach-focused holiday - the north and south coasts both require a drive.
