Higher Kernick Stable

Higher Kernick Stable is a converted stone stable block near the village of Helland, on the western fringe of Bodmin Moor. The property sleeps four and comes with solar-powered electric vehicle charging and underfloor heating throughout the ground floor.

Three bedrooms are arranged across two levels: a ground-floor king-size double with en-suite walk-in shower, plus a double and a twin reached via a spiral staircase on the first floor. The ground-floor bathroom has a bath and separate shower cubicle. An open-plan living area combines kitchen, dining, and sitting space, with a second sitting area off the entrance hall. The kitchen has an electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, and dishwasher. Sky TV and an Amazon Echo are provided.

Outside, an enclosed paved courtyard and a grass paddock offer space for a dog (one welcome). Allocated parking for two cars sits on a gravel surface, with the EV charging dock free for guest use. Port Gaverne Beach - a sheltered cove with calm water near Port Isaac - is 12.9km away. Tregardock Beach, a remote sandy stretch with surf, sits 13.8km to the north.

Blisland village, with its CAMRA-awarded Blisland Inn and Norman church around the green, is a short drive west. The open moorland of Bodmin Moor starts immediately to the east, with walking routes toward Rough Tor and Brown Willy. The pub at Helland is 2 miles away.
