Eventide

Eventide is a three-bedroom late 18th-century mid-terrace former smugglers' cottage in Kingsand on the Rame Peninsula, sleeping 5 across a single bathroom. Sea views run from every window, with the property overlooking the sand and shingle beach in the heart of the village next to the Clock Tower.

Inside, the cottage combines period character with modern equipment. Wifi, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and an open fire are all included. Dogs are welcome. The layout distributes sleeping across three bedrooms suited to small family groups.

Outside, the beach sits a few steps from the front door - Kingsand and Cawsand have three small beaches with sand and shingle separated by areas of rocks, all with water views. Village amenities including pubs, cafes, and a general store with post office are within a couple of minutes' walk, alongside more shops and eateries in the twin village of Cawsand.

The South West Coast Path runs past the cottage, heading around Penlee Point to Rame Head with cliff scenery and wildlife. Mount Edgcumbe Country Park and Antony House sit within a short drive, and several golf courses lie in the immediate area. Whitsand Bay, 2 miles west, has a long stretch of sand and rocks, and a summer passenger ferry runs from Cawsand Beach across Plymouth Sound to the Barbican.
