East Cliff

East Cliff is a two-bedroom cottage on the edge of Polperro harbour on the south Cornwall coast, sleeping four with window seats overlooking the working fishing port. The cottage places guests within metres of the quayside and the fishing boats at rest in the inner harbour.

Inside, two bedrooms and a single bathroom give room for a small family or two couples. The layout is accessible, with wifi, a washing machine and off-road parking included - the last of these is a practical detail given Polperro's car-free village centre. Window seats take advantage of the view out over the water. Dogs are welcome.

Outside, the garden sits to the rear, and the coast path runs right past the door. The beach at Talland Bay is around 1.5 miles west along the coast path for swimming and rockpooling, while Looe's East Looe Beach sits around 4 miles the other way. The working fishing harbour itself is on the doorstep.

Polperro is a car-free village with most visitors leaving vehicles at the top car park and walking down to the harbour. The village carries narrow lanes of fishermen's cottages, smugglers' history and a working fishing fleet that still lands daily catches. The South West Coast Path runs through the village towards Looe in one direction and Fowey in the other.
