- ### "A fantastic cottage in a fantastic location!"

From the moment we arrived we felt at home. The cottage was extremely clean, well prepared and the owners have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. We have stayed in several cottages in the area over the last five years and this is the best (and cleanest) we have experienced.

The owners, Richard and Sue, who live next door, are lovely and maintained the perfect blend of being there if you need them and allowing you to enjoy your holiday in peace!

The proof as they say is in the pudding, so would we book again? We arrived home on Saturday and booked for next year on Sunday! We can't wait to go back!

- ### "Myself, husband, two Children and our dog Buddy spent a week in Daisy Cottage."

I have to say it is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. The Cottage was short of nothing and it was spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. The Garden was beautiful and very private. The Cottage is situated in Rose which is within walking distance of Perranporth over the beautiful sand dunes. The owners live next door and were very helpful and not at all intrusive. We actually left some of My sons clothes in one of the wardrobes and they have very kindly posted this back to us. I can not recommend this cottage, along with the location, enough - Just perfect.

Daisy cottage is such a lovely cottage and a credit to the owners next door who are so helpful but not intrusive. I can honestly say this is one of the best holiday cottages I have stayed in. Myself and hubby will be returning for the 3rd time in the not too distant future.

It was very clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly want. It was perfectly positioned to visit lots of surrounding places of interest. The owners were there to greet us and give us some handy information as well as some essentials to get us going. I would definitely go back to this cottage.

- ### "A perfect cottage in a perfect location."

Warm and welcoming with added touches like dog chews and cake to make us feel at home. The most comfortable beds we have ever had in holiday cottages and the most well stocked with everything you need and more. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it for couples and families alike. So close to the gorgeous beach of Perranporth and yet enough distance that you can enjoy peace and tranquillity. We will be back!

! Reading previous reviews, we had high expectations. And we were not disappointed. In fact Daisy Cottage exceeded our already high expectations. Richard and Sue have clearly put so much thought, care, love, and attention to detail into Daisy Cottage that it truly feels like home-from-home. We recommend it highly and unreservedly. !!! you could need was supplied and there were lots of extras to make your stay more enjoyable. we enjoyed the garden which was sunny all day and the walk to the sand dunes .

Very thoughtful touches like phone chargers in bedrooms. Lovely kitchen fully kitted out, great living room with dining table and chairs , tv dvd and WiFi. Very helpful owners live next door.

- ### "Everything in this cottage is well thought out."

It is cosy, comfortable, homely and warm. The owner was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The walks for the dogs were divine. The walks across the sandunes were close by and breathtaking. Apart from our horrendous weather we had a lovely Cornish holiday and I would highly recommend this cottage as a holiday for all. We didn't have children but if you did there was plenty for them to enjoy in the garden. Will definitely visit again.

- ### "The best holiday cottage we have stayed in."

It was myself, my partner, our 20mth old son and our 2 dogs. We stayed for 2 weeks end of Feb/beginning of March.

Prior to arriving, Richard (the owner) sent us step by step directions to get to the cottage. He also recommended a lady who does dog day care (Salty Sea Dogs Walking & Day Care, Perranporth) so we could visit the Eden Project.

The cottage itself is fantastic; located a short distance from Perranporth (2 min drive) with ample parking for 2-3 cars.

Richard and Sue have literally thought of everything; the kitchen is kitted out with a high standard of all necessary utensils, cookware and crockery which enabled us to cook most nights.

There were instructions on how to use the TV & DVD player, WIFI, heating and heater in the bathroom.

Also provided was towels for the dogs, blankets for the settees, a high chair, travel cot and sturdy baby gates (a god send for us!). In the garden is a shed which is basically a play room, which our son loved! There is also a huge selection of books and DVDs.

The beds are very comfortable and plenty of towels are provided.

We personally loved the decor of the cottage; all the little touches such as sea themed ornaments and pictures.

We wouldn't think twice about staying again and would definitely recommend.

This cottage has everything you could want and more. The special little touches make it feel like a home from home. Just 5 minutes from Perranporth, it is ideally located for a beach holiday or a more activity based holiday as we did. We cannot recommend Daisy Cottage enough, a definite 10/10!

- ### "Lovely home with a nice sized enclosed garden which was good for the dogs."

The dogs loved their walks on the sand dunes just at the bottom of the road. We had unfortunately not come down for an holiday this time but to arrange a family funeral, the owners of Daisy Cottage who live next door were great and kept an eye on our dogs whilst we had to go to a meeting in Redruth. We will definitely be back for a proper holiday soon next time with our three children who I'm sure will love the house and the nearby sand dunes as well as the nearby perranporth beach. I think it's probably the best holiday home we have stayed in so far, definitely felt like home from home here. I would recommend Daisy Cottage to anyone looking for an holiday in Cornwall

It’s really comfortable and the owners who live next door are friendly and very helpful. It is an ideal spot for dog owners with lovely walks over the dunes down to the beach and along the coastal path. We had a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend both Daisy Cottage and Sykes Cottages.

We didn't want for anything. A great deal of thought has been put into the cottage with all our needs being met. The grandchildren thought they were in heaven with the playhouse in the garden which was stocked with so many things they didn't know what to play with first. Richard and Sue have very successfully ensured that holiday makers have every thing they need to have a good holiday. The cottage was neat, tidy and very appealing. Many thanks to Sykes cottages and especially Richard and Sue for allowing us to hire such a lovely cottage. we will certainly use it again.

- ### "Very well appointed cottage with all you could need for a great holiday."

Good location for exploring the main sites all less than an hour away with reasonably good road links. Owners live next door, and were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. They had really thought through what is needed for a great holiday and provided it. One of the best cottage holidays I have had and I would thoroughly recommend it. Use the owners directions as Google maps gives up in previous village.

- ### "Where to start?"

From the moment we stepped foot into the cottage we felt like we were at home. Such a lovely space, thoughtfully laid out and tastefully decorated; plenty of room for the 6 of us. What a great base for our busy Cornwall getaway. In a beautiful location, this cottage was great for both enjoying the local area and was also centrally located so that we could visit other locations from Land's End to Tintagel. The cottage was clean, the garden was lovely and the rooms were spacious. Staying in this cottage really enhanced our family holiday and was a wonderful place to come "home" to at the end of a busy day. Communication from the owners before hand was excellent. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

In an excellent private location, the owners are very friendly but not at all intrusive. You can truly relax in this property yet there is plenty to do in the surrounding area. Lots of games, books, dvds and good size private garden to keep everyone entertained whatever the weather. Stayed in lots of cottages before and this one is the best, great attention to detail and comfort of guests.
