Alma House 2

Alma House 2 is a mid-terrace cottage in the centre of Perranporth, set over three floors. The property sleeps up to 4 adults and 2 children in three bedrooms, and welcomes two dogs.

The ground floor is open-plan, combining kitchen, dining and sitting area with an electric stove. A first-floor king-size double and a children's bunk room share a bathroom with a small bath and shower over. The second-floor double has its own en-suite with shower. Note the steep stairs to the top floor, though a handrail is fitted. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer and the usual appliances.

Off-road parking fits one car, and enclosed front and rear gardens provide outdoor space. Perranporth Beach - 3 miles of golden sand with the Watering Hole pub built right on it - is a 2-minute walk from the front door. Trevellas Cove, a quieter pebble beach near St Agnes, is 3.8 km along the coast.

Perranporth's beach faces west into the Atlantic and picks up consistent swell, with surf schools operating in season and lifeguards on duty through summer. The village has pubs, shops and cafes within a 2-minute walk. The coast path north leads to St Piran's Oratory, one of the oldest Christian sites in Cornwall. Truro is about 8 miles south-east.
