Combermere Cottage

Combermere Cottage is a recently built single-storey detached cottage in an elevated position on the southern side of Bude harbour. It sleeps up to four (with space for one infant) across two bedrooms and two bathrooms, welcomes one dog and suits couples or a small family with accessible ground-floor living.

Inside, the cottage has an open-plan layout with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open fire for cooler evenings and a kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. The ground-floor single-storey design makes it a practical choice for guests with limited mobility. Wifi covers the property throughout.

Outside, the cottage has a garden and a block-paved driveway providing parking for one car. Bude's main sandy beaches at Summerleaze and Crooklets, the coast path and the town's shops, pubs and restaurants are all less than a 5-minute walk away. Widemouth Bay is 3 miles along the South West Coast Path.

A leisure centre and supermarket sit 1 mile from the cottage, and Bude Canal has coarse fishing, canoeing, rowing boat hire and walks along the canal towpath. Tintagel, with its links to King Arthur and the ruined castle on the headland, and the harbour at Boscastle are both around 30 minutes' drive, along with the hillside village of Clovelly over the border in Devon.
