Carines Barns - Pol

Pol is a dog-friendly two-bedroom cottage at Carines Farm, a rural property near Cubert on the north Cornwall coast. The barn conversion runs on biomass heating with solar panels and underfloor heating throughout, keeping energy costs included in the rental price.

Arranged as a reverse-level layout, both bedrooms sit on the ground floor alongside two bathrooms. The main bedroom has a super king-size zip-and-link bed that splits into twins on request, with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin, and heated towel rail. The second bedroom has a double zip-and-link bed (convertible to super king-size) and access to a ground-floor bathroom with bath and shower over. Upstairs, the first-floor open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining area, and sitting room. The kitchen includes an induction hob, fan-assisted oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washer/dryer.

A fully enclosed rear garden has a patio with furniture and a lawn area. Shared grounds extend to a larger field with a barbecue area. Off-road parking is provided. Up to four dogs are welcome, with more possible by owner approval.

Crantock Beach is 2.1km away, and Porth Joke - a sheltered cove managed by the National Trust - sits at 2.3km. Cubert village has the Smugglers' Den Inn for meals and a shop within a mile. Pol interconnects with Par to accommodate 8 guests, and the five Carines Barns properties together sleep up to 21.
