Par is a two-bedroom converted barn at Carines Farm near Cubert, a quiet village set back from the north Cornwall coast about 3 miles south of Newquay. The property runs on biomass heating and solar panels - a sustainability approach that earned it a Sykes Gem Award for Best for Sustainability.

The barn follows a reverse-level layout with two ground-floor bedrooms and a first-floor open-plan living area. The main bedroom has a super king-size zip-and-link bed with en-suite bath, heated towel rail, and WC. The second bedroom offers a twin zip-and-link arrangement that converts to super king-size on request. A separate bathroom with bath and shower over serves the ground floor. Upstairs, the kitchen has an induction hob, fan-assisted oven, American-style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and coffee machine. The dining table extends to seat 6.

Outside, a fully enclosed rear garden has a patio with furniture, plus shared access to a larger lawn area with a football net, hammock, and barbecue. Off-road parking is included. Up to four dogs are welcome, with additional dogs possible by arrangement with the owner.

Crantock Beach is 2.1km away, with Porth Joke at 2.3km - both accessible via lanes and footpaths through farmland. Par interconnects with the neighbouring Pol barn to sleep 8, and the wider Carines Barns collection accommodates up to 21 guests across five properties. A bus stop at the farm lane entrance runs services to Newquay, Holywell, and Crantock.
