St Enodoc Golf Club, regarded as one of the most scenic links courses in the South West - John Betjeman is buried in the adjacent churchyard - is 500m away on foot. Daymer Bay Beach, a sheltered National Trust bay at the mouth of the Camel Estuary, is 2km. Greenaway Beach is 2.7km, and Polzeath surf beach is 3.6km. The foot ferry to Padstow runs from approximately 1km down the road, connecting to the town's harbour restaurants, market and the Camel Trail cycle route to Bodmin. The sailing club opposite the property runs youth and adult sailing courses through the season.
