Two-storey Victorian semi-detached cottage in a wooded valley on the edge of Perranporth, sleeping four across one double and one twin room. The 900m walk to the beach runs down through the valley. At the bottom, the 3-mile stretch of sand faces west into the Atlantic and is lifeguarded through the summer months.

The open-plan lounge-diner has a beamed ceiling and ornamental fireplace - period detail without the upkeep of a working fire. EV charging is on site, as is a private garden where dogs can be off the lead. Wi-Fi is included; no dishwasher or washing machine are listed.

Perranporth village has the Watering Hole bar built directly on the beach, plus surf schools operating from May through September. Trevellas Cove is 3.3km north along the South West Coast Path, and Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is 3.8km - both smaller and less crowded in peak weeks. Truro is roughly 8 miles south-east by road.

Best for families or couples who want beach access on foot, an atmospheric Victorian interior, and EV charging on site. Less good for guests who need laundry facilities - there is no washing machine listed - or who want off-street parking, as none is available.
