Trevellas Cove, another small north-facing inlet, is 4.7km. Perranporth's 3-mile Atlantic beach, one of the longest stretches of sand on the north Cornish coast, is 7km.

St Agnes village, around 15 minutes by car, has a pub, independent shops, a local bakery, and the Trevaunance Cove cafe strip. Truro is 20 minutes south for a full range of supermarkets, restaurants, and the county's main theatre and arts centre.
