Mithian Cottage is a 1-bedroom stone cottage in the village of Mithian, sleeping 2 guests with 1 bathroom. The ground-floor layout includes accessible features, making it one of the relatively few accessible self-catering properties in the St Agnes area. Mithian sits in the valley between St Agnes and Perranporth, with a pub - the Rose in Vale - within walking distance of the cottage. Trevaunance Cove is 2.4km away, a sheltered beach below the old tin mine at the mouth of the Trevaunance valley, with a seasonal cafe and surf hire. Trevellas Cove is 2.3km, a smaller and quieter option accessed via a footpath. Trevaunance Cove has lifeguard cover in summer and a reasonable car park above the beach.

St Agnes village is around 2km and has a handful of cafes, galleries, and an independent food shop. Perranporth Beach, a long Atlantic-facing strand popular with surfers, is 4.2km west. The decommissioned Wheal Coates engine house - one of the most photographed industrial buildings on the Cornwall coast - is visible from the cliff path roughly 3km away.

Good for a couple who want a quieter inland base with easy access to the north Cornwall surf beaches, especially if one person has mobility requirements. Not great for anyone expecting a coastal or sea-view setting directly from the property.
