Lower Rissick Cottage

Lower Rissick Cottage is a one-bedroom accessible cottage at Crows-an-Wra near St Buryan, sleeping 2 in the far west of the Penwith peninsula. The cottage sits in open agricultural land between Penzance and Land's End, roughly equidistant from both. It has accessible features throughout, 1 bathroom, off-road parking, and Wi-Fi.

Gwynver Beach is 3km from the cottage - a wide, Atlantic-facing sandy beach that runs north from Sennen and is often quieter than Sennen Cove, which is 4km away. Sennen Cove has a surf school, a lifeboat station, a pub, and a cafe on the seafront. The South West Coast Path connects both beaches and continues to Land's End, around 6km south-west of the cottage.

The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno - an open-air cliff-top theatre carved into the granite headland - is around 5km from the cottage. Performances run from May to September, with the theatre also open as a visitor attraction year-round during daylight hours. Lamorna Cove, a small rocky inlet on the south Penwith coast, is a short drive.

Right for couples with accessibility requirements who want a base close to Land's End and the west Cornwall coast path. Also suits walkers focused on the Penwith coastal stretch between Sennen and St Ives. Less good for guests wanting village amenities on the doorstep - St Buryan is a small inland village with a church and a pub. Saturday changeover.
