Apple Blossom Barn

Apple Blossom Barn is a detached one-bedroom barn conversion at Trenow Farm, in the hamlet of Gulval on the hill above Penzance. It sleeps two and looks out over Mount's Bay to St Michael's Mount.

The barn has one bedroom, one bathroom, and an open fire in the sitting room for cooler evenings. The kitchen is fitted with a dishwasher. Outside there is a private garden with a patio and BBQ, plus parking for one car. Wi-Fi is included. There is no washing machine and no dog acceptance, and the barn is upstairs from the entry, so it is not step-free. Changeover is Friday - book full weeks.

Gulval village sits a mile uphill from the Penzance promenade. The walk down passes Penlee Park; the walk back up is a steady climb. The Art Deco Jubilee Pool lido and Morrab Gardens are both walkable into town. Marazion and St Michael's Mount sit 2 miles east along the bay - the causeway uncovers at low tide. Eastern Green Beach is the nearest sand at 1.3 km. Penzance station has the GWR Night Riviera sleeper to London Paddington six nights a week. The Minack Theatre at Porthcurno is 9 miles by road.

Best for couples who want a quiet rural cottage with a real fire and a garden, but still close enough to walk into Penzance. Less good for dog owners, families, or anyone needing step-free access.
