Little Coombe

Little Coombe is a one-bedroom attached annexe cottage on Coombe Farm near Trehunist, sleeping two in a mezzanine double bedroom. Access is via single-track country lanes - a car is essential and not suitable for oversized vehicles. Underfloor heating and an induction hob are among the modern fittings in the open-plan interior. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome.

The farm setting gives direct access to footpaths across the Cornish countryside east of Liskeard. Downderry Beach, a long sandy stretch on the south coast, is 9.4km away. Looe - with its twin-harbour town, fish market, and Blue Flag East Looe Beach - is about 12km south and makes a practical day trip. East Looe Beach itself is 11.9km from the property.

Liskeard town, roughly 5km north, has a mainline station on the London Paddington line with a branch connection to Looe. Bodmin Moor lies to the north-west, with open walking country around Minions village and the Cheesewring tor. The garden gives some outdoor space, though there is no dishwasher or washing machine on site.

Ideal for a couple wanting a quiet rural retreat with good access to both south coast beaches and moorland walking. Not great for anyone dependent on public transport for local trips. Saturday changeover.
