Kittiwake

Kittiwake is a modern three-bedroom house set across three floors in the seaside village of Downderry on Cornwall's south coast. Two bathrooms and a layout built for group stays make it workable for families or two couples travelling together, with low-occupancy discounts available in low and mid season.

Inside, the contemporary kitchen is well-equipped for cooking, and the open-plan living and dining room opens via French windows to the patio and enclosed lawned garden. The middle floor houses two double bedrooms and the family bathroom. The top floor holds the master suite with its own balcony and ensuite shower room.

Outside, the enclosed garden suits dogs and smaller children, with patio space for outdoor meals. Parking is on site and the property includes wifi, dishwasher and washing machine. Dogs are welcome and the local beach allows them year-round.

The beach itself is a 6-minute walk from the door. The village centre is about 8 minutes on foot, with pubs, village stores and Bewshea's bar/cafe/restaurant for meals or takeaway picnics. The South West Coast Path runs along the headland, giving access to Seaton, Looe and the wider coast in both directions.
