There are plenty of options for walkers, with the coastal path taking you through the different local habitats and the stone ruins of old wheelhouses. If two wheels is more your thing, head to Devoran (8.5 miles) along the Coast to Coast trail or follow the ‘mining trails’ close to Portreath's various patches of woodland. Take a load off and drive along the scenic coast and visit Godrevy Lighthouse (10 miles), Hayle (10 miles) and the trendy seaside town of St Ives (17 miles).
