Hazel

Hazel is an all-ground-floor lodge near Truro, set within the Killiow Golf Club grounds at Carnon Downs. The property sleeps six in three super-king bedrooms - all zip-and-link, convertible to twins on request - making it accessible for guests with mobility needs.

Two bedrooms have en-suite walk-in showers, and a separate wet room with walk-in shower serves the third. The open-plan living area combines a sitting room with a wood-burning stove, a kitchen with electric oven and hob, and a dining space. A 4K Smart TV, WiFi, and a selection of books and games are provided. Bathrobes, bed linen, and towels are included.

An enclosed decked area with outdoor furniture sits outside. Off-road parking is available. No pets are permitted. The nearest shop is 1 mile away, and a pub is 2 miles.

The lodge is 10 km from the Roseland coast, where Castle Beach at Falmouth and St Mawes both have safe swimming and rock pools. Pendower Beach (10.2 km) is one of the Roseland's longest sandy stretches. Truro, Cornwall's only city, is a short drive north - the cathedral, Pannier Market, and Lemon Street shops are all within the city centre. The Tregothnan estate and Truro River boat trips provide day-trip options without needing to travel far.
