Gwel-an-Tansys is a four-bedroom cottage in the Wheal Kitty area of St Agnes, sleeping seven across three doubles and a single. At 800 metres from Trevaunance Cove, it sits close enough to walk to the beach while staying above the village in a residential setting.

The ground floor has a kitchen, utility room, and a living/dining room with a woodburning stove. A separate snug with TV provides a second sitting space. Upstairs, the main double has an en-suite walk-in shower, two further doubles share a family bathroom with bath and shower over, and a single bedroom completes the layout. A ground-floor cloakroom adds a third WC. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, and a tumble dryer sits in the utility.

An enclosed rear garden has a patio with outdoor furniture. Private parking fits three cars, and EV charging is available. Trevaunance Cove - a mixed sand and rock beach with surf, bodyboarding, and cafes along the harbourside - is 800m downhill. Trevellas Cove, a quieter shingle cove with clear water for snorkelling, lies 1.1km northeast.

St Agnes is a former tin-mining village with independent shops, galleries and pubs. The Wheal Coates engine house on the cliffs south of the village is one of the most photographed buildings in Cornwall. The coast path connects to Chapel Porth beach and Porthtowan beyond.
