Driftwood

Driftwood is an all-ground-floor cottage in Polzeath village, 500 metres from the beach. The property sleeps four in two double bedrooms and is fully accessible at ground level, making it suitable for guests with mobility needs. Dogs are welcome.

Inside, the cottage has a bathroom with bath and shower over, a kitchen with dining area, and a sitting room with an electric fire. Equipment includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, and WiFi. A selection of books, games, and DVDs is provided.

Off-road parking for two cars sits outside the property. The enclosed lawned garden has outdoor furniture, and the village shop and pub are both within a 5-minute walk.

Polzeath Beach, a half-mile stretch of sand with consistent surf breaks and RNLI lifeguard cover, is 500 metres away - roughly 3 minutes on foot. Several surf schools operate from the beach between Easter and October. Greenaway Beach, a quieter cove with rock pools and snorkelling, is 1.3 km along the coast path. Rock is about 2 miles south, and the water taxi from Rock to Padstow opens up the Camel Estuary for day trips. Port Isaac is 6 miles north.
