This traditional-style cottage lies in the heart of the ancient fishing village of Polruan, and pretty Fowey sits just across the estuary – with its pubs and restaurants, it’s just a short ferry ride away. The village itself has a small shop, bakery, cafe, and a couple of good pubs which serve food. There is a ferry service to Fowey which runs every 15 minutes, giving access to further shops and eateries. There is only one road into Polruan, which ends by the quay close to the tidal beach, making the village a quiet and peaceful destination to retreat to. It is ideally situated for visiting attractions such as the Eden Project (16 miles) or Ferryside, where Daphne Du Maurier wrote her first novel. The property also offers easy access to the South West Coast Path.

Enter into the cottage and the large kitchen with a dining table and plenty of space to socialise whilst cooking. With great views from the kitchen window, it's a wonderful spot to gather after a day of exploring the gems of Cornwall. Moving through the kitchen and into a hallway, you will find the living room and bedrooms all come off this area. The lounge is spacious with lovely, large windows overlooking Polruan and the harbour . You will also find a separate seating area perfect for reading a book or watching the ever-changing tides. A laundry room with a washing machine and freezer sits to the rear of the property, under the stairs. The bedrooms are spacious with the first being a king and the second, a double. Next door is a delightful shower room completes this retreat.

Outside is a large patio terrace with garden furniture and spectacular views, a fantastic place to dine alfresco and enjoy a cold drink after a long day in the sunshine. A wash station is available at the rear of the property to rinse off muddy paws, walking boots, salty wet suits, and paddleboards, ideal for those who enjoy walks and watersports.
