Apple Loft

Apple Loft is a two-storey barn conversion at Menaburle Farm near Boconnoc, in the wooded countryside between Lostwithiel and the south coast. The ground-floor living area centres on a woodburning stove with free logs provided, giving the space warmth in cooler months.

Two bedrooms sit upstairs: a king-size double and a twin room reached via 4 steps (better suited to children). The ground-floor bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower. The open-plan living area includes a kitchen with electric oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine, alongside dining and sitting areas. Wi-Fi, TV, and DVD player are included, with a cot and highchair available on request.

An enclosed garden with lawn, patio, and garden furniture provides a private outdoor space with countryside views. Off-road parking for two cars is included, and one pet stays free of charge. Lansallos Beach - a remote cove reached only by footpath, known for clear water and rock pools - is 8.9 km south. Lantic Bay, a National Trust beach between Polruan and Fowey with a steep 20-30 minute walk down, sits 9.7 km away.

Lostwithiel, Cornwall's former medieval capital, is about 3 miles away with antique shops lining Fore Street and a regular farmers' market. Restormel Castle stands just over a mile from the town, and the National Trust's Lanhydrock estate is roughly 3 miles north. The Eden Project is 5 miles west, and the harbour town of Fowey about 6 miles south.
