Three-storey Victorian house on Fowey's Esplanade, 66 Esplanade has direct views over the harbour, the Polruan ferry crossing, and Pont Pill. Four bedrooms across three floors accommodate up to 8 guests, and dogs are welcome.

The ground floor has two bedrooms - a king-size with sea views and a twin - plus a bathroom and a utility room with rear access to St Fimbarrus Road. The first floor is given over to an open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area; a window seat in the lounge frames the estuary view, and a shower room with WC is on this level. Two further bedrooms sit on the second floor: a king-size with sea views and TV, and a twin.

The ground-floor terrace has garden seating and a BBQ, looking across the harbour to Polruan, Pont Pill, and St Catherine's Castle. Off-road parking is provided - rare on Fowey's narrow waterfront, where most properties park up the hill.

Readymoney Cove, the sheltered sandy beach below St Catherine's Castle, is 400 metres away and reachable on foot from the house. The South West Coast Path runs from the cove towards Gribbin Head, about 3 miles along the cliffs. Lantic Bay, a remote National Trust beach with clear water and steep cliffs, is 1.5 miles east. The Fowey to Polruan passenger ferry crosses every 10 to 15 minutes, and Sam's on Fore Street serves locally landed fish.

Best for families or two couples wanting a harbour-front base in Fowey with sea views from two bedrooms, off-road parking, and a dog welcome. Less good for guests with mobility issues - the house spans three floors with internal stairs - or anyone needing step-free beach access without a coast-path walk.
