Trotters

Trotters is a three-bedroom converted semi-detached barn for six on the edge of Mount Hawke village, between St Agnes and Porthtowan on the North Cornwall coast. A reverse-level layout with vaulted ceilings, exposed beams and wooden floors on the upper storey distinguishes it from the standard ground-floor conversions in the area.

Sleeping is across a king bedroom, a double, and a full-size bunk room for a family of six. Bedrooms and a family bathroom sit on the ground floor; the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area takes the upper floor to capture light and views. One dog of any size or two small dogs are welcome.

Outside, the barn has an enclosed garden and parking for two cars. Porthtowan Beach, with its Blue Flag status, sits just under two miles away either by car or via a countryside walk. Trevaunance Cove at St Agnes is 4.4 km away, Trevellas Cove 4.8 km, and Portreath Beach 6.2 km.

Mount Hawke itself has a licensed cafe, a village shop and a skate park. The Coast to Coast Cycle Trail starts at Bissoe a short drive away, running traffic-free across the peninsula. Perranporth and Chapel Porth beaches are both within reach. Prices start from GBP 637 per week with Saturday changeovers.
