Trebarfoote

Trebarfoote is a three-bedroom holiday home sleeping six in an elevated position above Polruan, with sea and river views looking across to Fowey, Readymoney Cove, and the Atlantic beyond. Access to the South West Coast Path starts right from the door.

Inside, the cottage has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a living room and balcony that frame the river view. The property includes a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, open fire, and accessible features, and dogs are welcome.

Outside, parking is included and a garden sits alongside the property. Lantic Bay, owned by the National Trust, lies just over a mile away and works as a sheltered sandy cove that welcomes dogs year-round. Polruan's own small beaches - Quay Beach and Back Beach - are tidal but give families a spot to use at low water.

Polruan village has a few traditional pubs, a village store, and a cafe. The foot passenger ferry across to Fowey runs year-round, with a separate car ferry from Bodinnick three miles away. Bodinnick was home to Daphne du Maurier, where she wrote her first novel, and Ferryside - her family home - remains recognisable on the waterfront with its blue shutters.
