Priests Cove at Cape Cornwall is 1.9km - a working fishermen's cove with a slipway and no lifeguard, suited to experienced swimmers and those who want a wild-feeling coastal spot away from the main surfing beaches. Gwynver Beach is 4.5km, a quieter stretch north of Sennen with consistent Atlantic swell. Sennen Cove is 6.2km, with a surf school, RNLI station, and a cafe on the beach.

Best for a couple who want a well-equipped base in walking distance of a working Cornish town, with EV charging and easy access to the Land's End peninsula. The solar heating and new fit-out make it a good year-round option. Not great for families or groups, as sleeping capacity is 2 and the bedrooms are configured for one party.
