The Old Barbican

The Old Barbican is a wonderful 1700’s detached period property and superb holiday home that exudes quality, charm and character. The property is a short distance from the busy seaside port of Looe, one of Cornwall’s most popular seaside destinations. Set in a quieter area of town with ample parking, the house has been beautifully renovated by the owners, creating a fresh and welcoming environment either during the summer, when guests can relax in the wonderful cottage garden with patio and barbecue areas, or during the winter, when visitors can nestle in front of the modern wood burning stove, before relaxing with the family in the elegant dining room over a meal prepared in the striking oak and granite kitchen. Upstairs, beautifully appointed bedrooms, two of which overlook the garden and have en-suite facilities.

Please Note; At the end of the drive at The Old Barbican there is a gate which gives access to The Wooldown - which is and open space for walking and recreation and has beautiful sea and coastal views.There is also pedestrian access by means of  paths and steps leading down to East Looe beach, banjo pier and The Town.
