Gunwalloe Church Cove is 1.9km away - a sandy National Trust beach with the medieval St Winwaloe church set back from the dunes. Poldhu Cove is 2.5km, Mullion Cove harbour four miles south, and Kynance Cove six miles down the coast road. The South West Coast Path between Gunwalloe and Poldhu is short, level, and one of the easier sections on the Lizard.

Best for couples or a small family of four wanting accessible accommodation with sea views and beach access without steps. Helston market town is three miles north, with the Flora Day festival each May. Less good for dog owners, larger groups, or anyone wanting a wood burner and traditional cottage character.
