Three-bedroom house above Sennen sleeping six, set back from the cove on the road into the village. Gwynver Beach is 1.2km via the cliff path and Sennen Cove - a mile of sand on Cornwall's most westerly beach - is 1.5km down the hill. Land's End sits one mile south.

The house has three bedrooms across two floors and two bathrooms. The first-floor double has a super-king bed and a balcony, though it does not face the sea. Living space is open-plan with a kitchen, dining area, and sitting room flowing together. The walled garden is enclosed for dogs and has a barbecue and outdoor furniture. WiFi and off-street parking are included; there's no dishwasher or washing machine, so factor that in for longer stays.

Two dogs are welcome with beds provided. The Old Success Inn, a 17th-century pub on the cove, is a 15-minute walk; the Beach Restaurant on the sand is the same. Sennen Cove Watersports runs surf, kayak, and paddleboard hire from the beach. The coast path north reaches Cape Cornwall and the Botallack engine houses (4 miles, Poldark filming country); the Minack Theatre is 7 miles east at Porthcurno.

Best for active families and dog-walkers happy to walk down to the cove and back up. Less good for guests wanting a sea view from the cottage itself, or anyone needing a dishwasher.
