For leisurely activities take a stroll around the boating lake in Coronation Park, just 5 minutes from the cottage, indulge in a pedalo ride and savor a fresh coffee and a delectable cake from the park café. Children will enjoy feeding the ducks and the play equipment. The River Cober flows through Coronation Park and is a haven for wildlife. An enchanting walk through appealing footpaths of the Penrose Estate leads to Loe Pool, Cornwall’s largest natural freshwater lake. From Loe Bar join the coastal path and venture west reaching the charming fishing town of Porthleven with its array of cafes, restaurants and bars or eastwards to Gunwalloe Cove and Poldhu.

There is a gravelled area to the front that benefits from the sun during the day and two fold-up chairs are available to take outside to enjoy a coffee in the sunshine. Just across the road is the boating lake and play park with grassy areas to sit and enjoy a picnic in a lovely setting.
