Ferdis Indoor Play

Ferdi’s Indoor Play in Helston is one of Cornwall’s most exciting all-weather attractions for young children. Located next to the former Flambards theme park, it now operates independently and welcomes families year-round. Designed for kids up to 8 years old (maximum height 1.45 m), Ferdi’s offers a dynamic soft-play experience featuring ball pools, rope bridges, twisty slides, climbing walls, and colorful tunnels that encourage active fun and physical play in a safe indoor space.

The venue is divided into three fun zones to suit different age groups and play styles. The Main Play Area is full of action with cannon shooters, climbing challenges, and racing slides. Younger children can explore the Toddler Zone, which includes soft animals, puzzles, and a gentle ball pool in a calmer, parent-friendly setting. There’s also the popular Mini Street, a pretend-play area where kids can shop in a mini supermarket, care for animals at a toy vet clinic, and serve treats at the play cafe - stimulating imagination and social learning.

Parents are well-catered for too, with an on-site cafe serving hot meals, snacks, coffee, and cakes, plus free Wi-Fi and comfy seating. The facility is equipped with family-friendly amenities, including baby-changing areas and disabled access. Ferdi’s is open Wednesday to Sunday from 10 am and daily during school holidays. Admission fees are affordable, with kids under 1 admitted free, and the center is also included with Flambards admission. The venue also hosts birthday parties, complete with food, unlimited play, party hosts, and even a plush Ferdi toy for the celebrant.
