Rock Rose

Rock Rose is a four-bedroom house in Downderry on the south Cornwall coast, sleeping eight across four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The house faces the sea with panoramic views across Whitsand Bay, and has accessible features that make it one of the few larger properties in this part of Cornwall suited to mixed-mobility groups. Dogs are welcome, and the garden has a BBQ.

Downderry Beach is 700m away - a quieter sandy beach on the sheltered south coast, rarely crowded even in August. Plaidy Beach is 4.3km east. Looe, with its fish market, harbour, and cafes on both east and west banks, is about 5.3km along the coast. Seaton valley to the west provides one of the more accessible riverside walks in the area.

Best for larger families or mixed-mobility groups wanting sea views and a south coast base within reach of Looe. Less good for guests expecting a fully flat approach to the beach.
