Ocean Retreat

Ocean Retreat is a detached double-fronted bungalow at Praa Sands, with views stretching over rooftops and across Mounts Bay. The two-bedroom property sleeps four, sits within its own grassy garden and is 300 yards from the mile-long beach.

Inside, the accessible ground-floor layout covers two bedrooms, one bathroom and a living area positioned to catch the sea view. A dishwasher, washing machine and wifi are all included, and dogs are welcome throughout.

Outside, the garden gives space for children and dogs, with parking included. From the door, the South West Coast Path heads along the cliffs towards Prussia Cove, Cudden Point and Rinsey Head. The beach itself handles swimming, surfing and rock-pooling at either end, and a pub/restaurant and surfboard hire are within walking distance. A 9-hole golf course overlooking the sea sits just inland.

Ocean Retreat sits between Penzance and Helston, with the harbour at Porthleven and the causeway to St Michael's Mount at Marazion both around 15 minutes by car. The fishing cove at Mousehole lies a little further west for a day out.
