Mill House

Mill House is a traditional detached three-bedroom house sleeping two, set in a creekside hamlet on a tributary of the Fowey river. The original mill building sits on sloping ground, reached from the parking area by a granite and cobbled path that crosses the old mill leat.

The interior retains a traditional character across its three bedrooms, with off-road parking for two vehicles and further space on the private grass verge. The property welcomes one small dog and suits a couple looking for a quiet creekside base within easy reach of the coast.

Outside, a little bridge crosses Penpoll Creek where canoes and small dinghies can be launched at high tide, around 25 yards from the door. Lansallos Beach lies 3.8km away and Lantic Bay 3.9km, both accessed via the South West Coast Path, while Readymoney Cove in Fowey sits 4.5km to the east.

Bodinnick, two miles away, has an old pub and a car ferry across to Fowey. Circular country walks start from the doorstep, with longer routes upriver to Lerryn and St Winnow, and the coastal Fowey Hall Walk. Polperro harbour is six miles by road, Looe with its sandy beach ten miles, and the Eden Project and Lanhydrock House are both within a 30-minute drive.
