Mellydonen Beder Del (Melly), Tor Down Quarry

Mellydonen Beder Del is a single-storey cottage on the outskirts of St Breward, on the western edge of Bodmin Moor. It sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, and comes with a private hot tub on the terrace.

The open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining, and sitting areas. The king-size master bedroom has a dressing room, en-suite, and Smart TV. A second king-size room has an en-suite shower, and the twin bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with heated towel rail. A wine cooler and coffee machine sit alongside the standard kitchen kit, and DAB radio adds to the Smart TV and WiFi.

Outside, the terrace holds the private hot tub, and ample off-road parking handles multiple vehicles. A boot-wash area with tap at the entrance is a practical addition for returning from moorland walks. Four pets are welcome.

St Breward stands at about 700 feet above sea level, with Rough Tor roughly 2 miles east. The nearest beaches are Tregardock (8.9 km) and Port Gaverne (9.8 km) on the north coast - both remote, uncrowded spots. The Old Inn, one of Cornwall's highest pubs, and a village shop are about a mile away. Wadebridge and the north coast beaches are around 20 minutes by car.
