Meadow Lea

Meadow Lea is a four-bedroom detached cottage on the edge of Pensilva, sleeping eight guests across two king-size rooms (one with en-suite and Juliet balcony), a twin, and a children's bunk room. The property sits on the southern fringe of Bodmin Moor, roughly 4 miles north of Liskeard.

Inside, the cottage is well-appointed. The main bathroom has a Duravit Sensowash WC, thermostatic shower over bath, and heated mirror. A ground-floor walk-in shower room provides step-free access. The sitting room has a wood-burning stove and opens onto a dining area, while a separate snug houses a Yamaha AvantGrand NU1X electronic piano with headphone capability. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, Nespresso machine, and Magimix food processor, with a larder fridge and separate chest freezer.

An external games room with table tennis and a garden with children's swings add to the outdoor space, along with a patio, furniture, and BBQ on the lawned grounds. Ample off-road parking and bike storage are provided. EV charging is available by arrangement with the owner. One dog is welcome.

The nearest coast is Plaidy Beach (15.8km), a calm, dog-friendly beach near Looe with rock pools and safe swimming. Downderry Beach (16km) is a mile-long stretch of sand and shingle facing south across Whitsand Bay. Minions - Cornwall's highest village at roughly 1,000 feet - is about a mile north, with the Hurlers stone circles and the Cheesewring tor within walking distance.
