Mawnan Cottage is a one-bedroom mews house set within Tresooth Cottages, a small complex of 16 properties on the edge of Mawnan Smith. The house is dog-friendly, with a designated paw-washing station on site, and sits in a quiet rural position four miles from Falmouth.

Inside, the living area opens onto a well-equipped kitchen, with a downstairs shower room on the ground floor. A large mezzanine bedroom runs above the main living space, set up with a king bed and trundle bed, giving capacity for a couple or a couple with a child. The layout suits short breaks and longer stays alike.

Outside, Tresooth has a large outdoor swimming pool and hot tub open from Easter to the end of September, with a sauna, second hot tub, games room and children's play area available year-round. The complex is set up for walking and cycling, with EV charging on site. Helford Passage sits two miles away, with the Ferry Boat Inn, boat hire and the foot ferry across to Helford Village.

Falmouth is a short drive away for the harbour, Maritime Museum and ferries to St Mawes, with Gyllyngvase, Maenporth and Swanpool all within easy reach. Trebah and Glendurgan sub-tropical gardens sit nearby, and the South West Coast Path runs along the Helford for walks towards Rosemullion Head and the Lizard.
