Lodge Three

Lodge Three is a single-storey, detached lodge at the Aviary development near Brighton Cross, mid-Cornwall, sleeping six across three bedrooms. The step-free layout and lawned garden make it a practical option for families who want outdoor space without stairs.

Inside, the open-plan kitchen, dining, and sitting area is the main living space. One double has an en-suite shower room with basin and WC. A second double and a twin share a separate shower room. Kitchen equipment includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and washing machine. Wi-Fi is included throughout. Off-road parking is on site; the nearest shop and pub are 1.7 miles away at Grampound Road.

The cottage sits on the A30 corridor, giving straightforward access to both Cornish coasts. Newquay is roughly 20 minutes north-west, with Great Western Beach (11.7 km) and Tolcarne Beach (11.6 km) - a wide, RNLI-lifeguarded arc with a cafe and beach school - both reachable from the same road. Truro and its cathedral are about 10 miles south, with the south coast and the Roseland beyond.

Best for families with younger children who need a lawned outdoor space and easy access to Newquay's surf beaches. Less good for guests wanting a coastal walking holiday - this is a car-based, mid-Cornwall base, not a clifftop property.
