Linden At Golant

Linden is an accessible two-bedroom cottage in Golant, the quiet estuary village 2 miles north of Fowey town on the River Fowey. The cottage sleeps 4 in a double and a bunk bedroom, with one bathroom. It is one of the few accessible-rated properties in the area, with layout and fittings suited to guests with limited mobility.

Inside, the cottage has a wood burner, a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, and fast wifi. A garden with BBQ and parking are on site. EV charging is available. Three dogs are welcome. The site has a heated indoor pool and sauna, plus an on-site bar open Fridays from March to October - occasionally hosting live entertainment.

Readymoney Cove, the sheltered shingle beach below Fowey, is 4km away. Fowey itself takes about 40 minutes on foot following the river south through National Trust woodland. The Saints Way footpath between Padstow and Fowey passes through the village. Lantic Bay, a National Trust beach with a steep descent and clear water, is 5.4km by road.

Best for mixed groups including guests with accessibility needs, or families wanting an indoor pool on rainy days. Less good for those who want a traditional village pub on the doorstep - the Fisherman's Arms in Golant is the only local option.
